About the Event
N Street Village is a nonprofit organization located in Washington, D.C. The organization supports women experiencing homelessness in the community by providing essential services, housing, and advocacy. Their work helps these women achieve stability in their lives by way of appropriate housing, income and employment opportunities, mental and physical health services, and addiction recovery.
The evening featured moving conversations with N Street Village alumnae and leadership — including President & CEO Portia Robertson Migas, Chief Program Officer Leora Braden Ibraheem, and Clinical Director Adebukola Olufotebi — alongside women whose journeys through N Street Village programs inspire us all.

Project Management
Web-based software, timeline management, meeting scheduling (kickoff, discovery, monthly, biweekly, weekly, Q2Q, seating), stakeholder updates, quality control, vendor hiring.
Budget & Accounting Consulting
Creative solutions, payment deadline tracking, vendor invoicing, and payments.
Event Decor & Design Consulting
Management of event spaces, initial design proposal with two rounds of revisions, and stage set design.
Event Discovery & Development
Two hours of discovery to identify theme, timeline, guest experience, design, concepts, tone, and flow.
Vendor recommendations for stylistic elements, day-of event timeline creation, and management.
Venue & Logistics Management
Research and report on 3 comparable venues (for the 2025 WDCEP Annual Meeting)
Coordination of production schedules and floor plans
Presentation and revision of timelines and floor plans, vendor compliance, guest seating consultation, and import into software
VIP and Elected Official management.
Vendors and Talent
Confirmation of event plan with client-recommended vendors, contract review, and final information provision to vendors
Liaison with talent/VIP staff and agents.
On-site management
On-site event management and support, including one project lead, two stage managers, one F&B lead, and one show director.
Rehearsals
Two hours of rehearsals on the event day.
Arrangement of technical requirements (sound, lighting, video, PowerPoint, rehearsals) through recommended vendors.
Management of all stage management needs.
Management of all event talent.
Post-Event Evaluation & Event Closeout
Ensuring timely final invoices and contract closeout.
Evaluating vendor/contractor performance and providing recommendations.
Hosting a final post-event meeting with stakeholders and client staff.
Project closeout across all work areas.
